Yellow Bike!

Trying out the Lazy Nezumi Pro plugin for Photoshop. Mmmmm, lovin' these smooth lines. Definitely going to use this from now on. Here are the process pics (the notepad scribble is from over two years ago):

Cotton Candy Hair

Found a sketch from last year that I liked, so I polished it up. Yet another in my “Girls with Vibrantly Colored Hair Looking off to the Side” series. I’ve been sick for the past three days, so it was nice to finally draw after being stuck in bed.

Misty

There's been a lot of talk of Pokémon for the past few weeks, so I had to try my hand at some fan art. Misty, you will have always been the first tomboy to win this young boy's heart way back when I first received a copy of Blue Version and saw the show in '98 (at the time her character was older than me!). I also appreciated the fact that she was a swimmer, as it was my sport growing up. You'll always be the water Pokémon trainer in my book. You go girl, Lorelei's got nothing on you.

Visual Development, Illustration, & Sculpture.

Alright, here goes a crazy catch-up of all the stuff I haven't posted in a long time. Above is a 3-point perspective painting I finished for one of my classes a little while back.

Just did these two digital paintings a couple days ago for a Tally Hall music video collaboration. The song titled "&," needed numerous images and interpretations of ampersands to be flashing by. Top one is a little Tim Burton inspired. (Going to go see the LACMA exhibit here in LA soon, very excited!). I'll be sure to add a link when I get to see the finished video. Tally Hall's Facebook page, "&" Song on Youtube.

"Barnacles, would you join me for a cup of tea?"

Bone fanart, done for celebrating the 20th anniversary of Bone in the comic-con 2011 souvenir book. Bone and all characters are copyright of Jeff Smith.

More sculptures:

 More character designs....

And a few more older illustrations...

Well I think that caught up almost everything. My posts won't usually be this long (I promise)
